Närproducerat – cooking as dance
A dance performance that is inspired by the dynamic movements of cooking.

What does everyday movements and dance have in common? In this solo, mundane actions in the kitchen are used as part of a choreography that does not stop until the food is on the table. Human in motion, music, cooking pots and steaming food form the ensemble of a domestic micro-spectacle that reflects on the greatness in the small. After the performance, the group may stay and enjoy a dinner consisting of the food prepared during the show in a lovley rural and relaxed environment.

Available for order to groups of 5-15 persons. Perfect as a dinner with your friends, as the company kick-off or just as a mini escape from everyday life.
The price per performance is 500 €/performance plus 10 €/person for the food (suitable audience amount is 5-15 persons). If you would like to book a performance, make an inquiry to sandrina.lindgren@grusgrus.fi.
About the food
The meal served is adapted for both vegetarians and vegans, other dietary adjustments to the menu are possible but limited and should be done on advance request. We serve water with the food, but you and your group may bring your own drinks to have with the food. You can have a look at the menu here (Swedish and Finnish).
The performance is without speech.
The performance takes place in the beautiful kitchen at Kahvila Koroinen in Korois park, on a walking distance from Turku city center.
The performance is without speech and aimed at adult audiences (12+). The performance duration is about an hour, afterwards the dinner is ready and you have time to eat.
Every visitor is required to be in good health and not showing any symptoms of illness. We recommend that everybody use masks during the performance.
